Paracosm
Fifteen students submitted lists of names for the Illustration Capstone show. I submitted “Paracosm” and my name was voted the winner out of more than 150 themes.
Defined as “detailed imaginary world”, Paracosm was a broad concept allowing full creative freedom for us to compete for a visual language for the show.
My “Eye of the Storm” concept is a cosmic maelstrom composited by blending segments of stock images, generative AI assets, and Photoshop brushes. It conveys an expression of raw creativity with expressive typography. Though it was not selected, it created a chance to explore organic grids and glass morphism.
